Each participant begins by choosing a design from a catalog of pattern options, ranging from animals and florals to geometric shapes and cultural motifs. The chosen design is then carved by hand into a rigid foam board, which serves as the base for the artwork. Next, participants select fabric pieces from a variety of colors and textures — all sourced from surplus or leftover textile material. Each piece is folded, filled, and carefully placed into the carved sections of the board, gradually building up a mosaic-like composition. Once the fabric placement is complete, the finished piece is framed and packaged on-site. The workshop takes approximately 2 hours, and there is no drying or firing process — participants take their framed artwork home the same day. No prior experience is required, and the workshop is suitable for participants aged 7 and up. It is offered exclusively in Istanbul.
